To those who call Franklin home, Cable Channel 13 is a window into city
government. Programming focuses on local government activities and upcoming
events. Citizens stay informed and involved.
The COF-TV Channel 13 is owned and operated by the City of Franklin and
is updated by the Information Systems Department. The channel was
part of the franchise agreement with Charter Communications. This
is one of four channels that the City opporates. Listed below are
the Channel Line ups:

Cable Channel 8 - Educational Use Only Bulletin Board - Schools
Cable Channel 6 - College Use Only PDCCC
The purpose of COF-TV (Cable Channel 13) is to cablecast government-related
programming of interest to the residents of the City of Franklin and surrounding
areas, to inform, educate and enlighten, as well as encourage participation
in government services, activities and decision-making.
The City of Franklin has a Cable TV Committee that advises the City on
future applications for franchises, monitor franchise's compliance with
the City's cable ordinance, hear, record and respond to complaints of
subscribers, review proposals for change in franchise ownership and makes
reports to Council as it deems advisable. Meetings are held monthly,
2nd Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the City Hall Conference Room. The Term
of membership on this board is 4 years.
