Real Estate Notice/General Reassessment Land Book

The City of Franklin would like to remind property owners that the real estate reassessment notices for the 2024 tax year will be mailed out May 13, 2024. Anyone wishing to schedule an appointment to discuss their new assessment with the Assessors from Wampler-Eanes Appraisal Group, LTD, may call the Commissioner of the Revenue's Office at (757) 562-8547 or email assessor@franklinva.com. Land use values for those properties which qualify are not reflected on the assessment notice. The Assessors will be available for phone hearings on the following dates and times, until scheduled hearings are completed:

Wednesday, May 29, 2024 9am-4pm
Thursday, May 30, 2024 9am-4pm
Friday, May 31, 2024 9am-4pm
Tuesday, June 4, 2024 9am-4pm
